This day goes down in the history of the country as a day of victory for the Rule of Law, as a day of victory for Justice and, finally, as a day of victory for the Democracy itself.

We welcome the historic conviction of the Court for the members of the Nazi criminal organization Golden Dawn.

We also welcome the thousands of citizens who gathered outside the Court of Appeals to shout in favor of the victory of Democracy. The broad democratic wave that was formed today on Alexandras Avenue, together with the thousands of other citizens who could not be there, is the real protective barrier of Democracy against fascism.

It is now everyone`s responsibility not to allow the snake of Nazism to infect society and the political system again.
