Samir Amin, a leading economist and theorist of Marxism, realized from early on the need to radicalize the whole of the Left in order to deal with the catastrophic, for both people and the environment, capitalism of our time. His work is food for thought and inspiration for action for every man and woman in the Left. We bid farewell to him with respect.
