According to a recent statement, the Council of the European Union approved the immediate launch of a military operation in the Central African Republic (C.A.R.). This decision introduces a new ambiguous chapter of military interventions at the longsuffering state of C.A.R.

The first military force will be compromised of up to 1.000 troops and it will be under the French command.

The party of SYRIZA is explicitly opposed on such an imperialistic intervention and it will oppose any involvement of Greece in this very dangerous operation, an act that contravenes and disrespects the International Law in every possible way.

We call on the government of Greece not to assist in this opportunistic operation with any direct or indirect means.
